2-hydroxydi-2-pyridylmethanolato-
4N,O:O,N')bis[(pyridine-
N)copper(II)] bis(perchlorate)Abstract: The title dinuclear compound, [Cu2(C11H9N2O2)2(C5H5N)2](ClO4)2, was obtained by the reaction of di-2-pyridyl ketone, copper(II) acetate, pyridine and sodium perchlorate. The two CuII atoms are coordinated by two hydroxydi-2-pyridylmethanolate ligands and two pyridine ligands, resulting in a distorted [CuN3O2] square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The molecular structure is stabilized by intramolecular
