Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Mo(C₂H₅N)Cl(C₂₆H₂₄P₂)₂](C₂₄H₂₀B)·2C₂H₃N, C₈₂H₇₉N₃BClP₄Mo, the Mo atom is surrounded by four P atoms of two crystallographically independent 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane ligands, one Cl atom and one N atom of an ethylimido ligand in a distorted octahedral geomtery.
