Abstract: A near-linear P-Au-S geometry is found for the Au atom in the title complex, (C₆H₁₁)₃PAu[SC(OCH₂CH₃)=NC₆H₄{C(=O}OCH₃-4)] or [Au(C₁₁H₁₂NO₃S)(C₁₈H₃₃P)].
