Abstract: The title complex, [Co(C₇H₈O₃S)₂(H₂O)₄], is isostructural with the Zn and Cu analogues. The Co atom (site symmetry $\\overline{1}$ ) adopts a regular trans-CoN₂O₄ octahedral geometry.
