Abstract: The title compound, [WCl₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂], is a six-coordinate complex with a distorted octahedral geometry around the W atom. C-HCl hydrogen-bond interactions and - stacking interactions are responsible for the supramolecular assembly.
