(1-Formyl-2-naphtholato-²O,O')dioxo(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')vanadium(V) dichloromethane 0.25-solvate

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, [V(C₁₁H₇O₂)O₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)]·0.25CH₂Cl₂, the central V^V atom has an octahedral environment, with vanadyl and deprotonated phenol O atoms and two phenanthroline N atoms in the equatorial plane and vanadyl and aldehyde carbonyl O atoms in axial positions. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds and - stacking interactions result in the formation of a two-dimensional network.
