Abstract: In the title complex, [Cu₄(C₁₃H₁₁NO₂)₄], which has crystallographic fourfold inversion symmetry, the four Cu^II ions are coordinated by tridentate Schiff base ligands, forming a tetranuclear cubane configuration. The Cu^II ions are in distorted square-pyramidal coordination environments with the Cu-O_apical distance significantly longer than the Cu-O_basal distances.
