O)zinc(II) monohydrateAbstract: The zinc center in the title compound, [Zn(C8H5O3)2(C7H6N2)2]·H2O, shows tetrahedral coordination. The molecules are linked by N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds. One of the two formylbenzoate ligands is disordered, approximately equally, over two positions.
