-trans-1,2-Di-4-pyridylethylene-
2N:N')bis[(bipyridine-
2N,N')(triphenylphosphine-
P)copper(I)] bis(tetrafluoroborate)Abstract: In the centrosymmetric dinuclear cation of the title complex, [Cu2(C10H8N2)2(C12H10N2)(C18H15P)2](BF4)2, each Cu atom is coordinated by two N atoms from a 2,2-bipyridine ligand and a P atom from a triphenylphosphine ligand, and the two N2PCu+ fragments are bridged by a trans-1,2-di-4-pyridylethylene ligand, resulting in a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry. Two F atoms are disordered over two sites each, with almost equal occupancies.
