Abstract: In the title complex, [Cr(C₁₁H₁₅N₂O₂)₂]Cl, the Cr^III ion is coordinated by four N atoms and two O atoms from two tridentate N-[2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)ethyl]salicylideneimine (sadol) ligands to form a distorted octahedron. A centrosymmetric dimer is constructed through the formation of O-HCl and N-HCl hydrogen bonds.
