Abstract: In the title compound, C₂H₆NO₂⁺·C₈H₄NO₆^-, the cations and anions are self-assembled into chains by N-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds, respectively. The two chains are held together by further N-HO hydrogen bonds, resulting in a two-dimensional sheet.
