Abstract: In the title complex, [Zn(C₁₇H₁₂NO)₂], the Zn^II ion is coordinated by two N,O-bidentate ligand molecules in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The crystal packing may be stabilized by weak C-HCg interactions [Cg is a ring centroid; HCg = 2.95 Å].
