Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C₁₀H₄Cl₂NO₂)₂]_n, the Ni^II atom, which lies on a symmetry plane, is N,O-chelated by the carboxylate anion, and adjacent formula units are linked by carboxylate bridges into a linear chain. The metal shows octahedral coordination.
