Triaqua[2-(4-carboxylatophenoxy)propionato-O](1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')manganese(II) monohydrate

Abstract: The zwitterionic title compound, [Mn(C₁₀H₈O₅)(C₁₂H₈N₂)(H₂O)₃]·H₂O, has the Mn atom in an octahedral geometry that comprises the O atom of the 2-(4-carboxylatophenoxy)propionate group, two N atoms of the 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and three water molecules. Extensive hydrogen-bonding and - stacking interactions lead to a three-dimensional supramolecular network.
