(2-Amino-4,5-dimethylbenzenesulfonato-N)diaquasilver(I)

Abstract: The title compound, [Ag(C₈H₁₀NO₃S)(H₂O)₂], shows a T-shaped coordination; the 2-amino-4,5-dimethylbenzenesulfonate monoanion binds through the amino group. The molecules are linked together through O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds into a layer structure.
