Abstract: The Br and Li ions of the title compound, bromido(1,4,7,10-tetraoxacyclododecane-⁴O)lithium(I), [LiBr(C₈H₁₆O₄)], are located on special positions of site symmetry 4mm. The crown ether ring is disordered over two positions with one C atom located on a mirror plane.
