S)tin(IV)Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Sn(C7H7)2(C10H7S)2], the distorted tetrahedral coordination around the Sn atom consists of two benzyl C atoms and two S atoms of naphthalenethiolate groups. The bond angles in the coordination environment are in the range 102.27 (5)-116.63 (19)°. The average Sn-C and Sn-S bond lengths are 2.151 (4) and 2.4172 (13) Å, respectively. One of the naphthalenethiolate groups is disordered, with a relative occupancy ratio of 0.726 (8):0.274 (8).
