N)hexakis(
2-4-amino-3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazole-
2N1:N2)tetrasilver(I) tetrakis(trifluoromethanesulfonate) acetonitrile disolvateAbstract: The centrosymmetric tetranuclear cluster of the title compound, [Ag4(C4H8N4)6(C2H3N)2](CF3SO3)4·2C2H3N, has four 4-amino-3,5-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazole N-heterocycles, each functioning as a bridge between two Ag atoms. Two of the Ag atoms are additionally coordinated by acetonitrile molecules, so that there are three-coordinate Ag atoms in a trigonal-planar geometry and four-coordinate Ag atoms in a tetrahedral geometry. There are no short hydrogen bonds between cations and anions.
