3N,N',O}(thiocyanato-
N)nickel(II)Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C14H19N2O)(NCS)], a mononuclear Schiff base nickel(II) complex, the Ni atom is four-coordinated by one imine N atom, one amine N atom and one phenolate O atom of the Schiff base ligand, and by one terminal N atom of the thiocyanate ligand, forming a square-planar geometry. The piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation. No significant hydrogen bonding or
-
interactions are observed in the crystal structure.
