Abstract: In the title compound, [Cd(C11H13BrClN2O)2]·H2O, both the mononuclear cadmium(II) complex and the solvent water molecule lie on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis, which passes through the metal centre and the O atom of the water molecule. The CdII atom is six-coordinated in a severely distorted octahedral geometry by two phenolate O, two imine N and two amine N atoms from two Schiff base ligands. The water molecule is linked to the CdII complex molecule through O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
