[N-(2,5-Dichlorophenylsulfonyl)dithiocarbimato(2-)-²S,S']bis(triphenylphosphine-P)nickel(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(C₇H₃Cl₂NO₂S₃)(C₁₈H₁₅P)₂], a distorted cis-NiS₂P₂ square-planar configuration around the Ni atom occurs due to the steric effect of the bulky triphenylphosphine ligands and the bidendate chelation by the two S atoms of the dithiocarbimate ligand. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak C_ar-HX (X = O and S) intermolecular interactions.
