4-benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylato-
4O:O':O'':O'''] 2.5-hydrate]Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, {(C2H10N2)[Cu(C10H2O8)]·2.5H2O}n, contains one cuprate(II)-
4-benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylate anion, one ethylenediammonium cation and two and a half water molecules. The Cu atom is four-coordinated by four O atoms from four benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylate anions. Intra- and intermolecular O-H
O and N-H
O hydrogen bonds in the formation of a supramolecular structure. One of the water molecules is disordered equally over two sites.
