-pyridine-3-carboxylato-
2N:O]Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Sn(C4H9)3(C6H4NO2)]n, consists of three butyl and one pyridine-3-carboxylate groups bonded to the Sn atom in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry. In the crystal structure, these units are linked to form an infinite one-dimensional polymeric chain structure. In one n-butyl chain three C atoms are disordered over two sites, and in another two C atoms are disordered over two sites.
