-sulfido-bis[(2-aminoethanethiolato-
2N,S)oxidomolybdate(V)]Abstract: The title compound, [Mo2O2S2(C2H6NS)2], was obtained by the reaction of sodium molybdate, H2S, sodium hydrosulfite and 2-aminoethanethiol. In the crystal structure, each MoV atom, in a square-pyramidal geometry, is coordinated by two
-S atoms, one terminal O atom, one S atom and one N atom of the 2-aminoethanethiolate ligand. A three-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network is constructed by intermolecular N-H
O and N-H
S hydrogen bonds.
