3N,N',O}(thiocyanato-
N)copper(II)Abstract: In the title mononuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu(C12H16N3O3)(NCS)(C2H3N)], the CuII atom is five-coordinated in a square-pyramidal geometry, with one O and two N atoms of the Schiff-base ligand and one N atom of the thiocyanate ligand defining the basal plane. The apical position is occupied by the N atom of the acetonitrile molecule. The structure is stabilized by intramolecular C-H
N and intermolecular C-H
O hydrogen-bonding interactions.
