O)zinc(II)Abstract: The title compound, [Zn2(NO3)2(C22H30N4O2)], is a centrosymmetric dinuclear zinc compound. Each Zn atom has a square-pyramidal geometry with N2O3 donors, being coordinated by two N atoms and two O atoms from the macrocyclic 10,21-dimethyl-3,6,14,17-tetraazatricyclo[17.3.18,12]tetracosa-1(23),8,10,12(24),19,21-hexaene-23,24-diolate ligand and one O atom from a nitrate anion. In the structure, two Zn atoms are linked by two phenolate O atoms to give a four-membered Zn2O2 ring.
