[N,N'-Bis(6-methoxysalicylidene)-1,3-diaminopropane]copper(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(C₁₉H₂₀N₂O₄)], is a mononuclear copper(II) Schiff base complex. The Cu^II ion is surrounded by two imine N and two phenolate O atoms of the tetradentate ligand in a square-planar coordination with a slight tetrahedral distortion. The dihedral angle between the CuN₂ and CuO₂ planes is 25.07 (9)°.
