Abstract: The Cd atom in the title compound, (C13H16N2)[CdBr2Cl2], is coordinated by four halogen atoms in a tetrahedral geometry. The four halogen atoms are each disordered between Br and Cl, with the Br:Cl ratios being approximately 0.5:0.5, 0.6:0.4, 0.4:0.6 and 0.8:0.2.
