Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C₇H₄NO₄)(C₆H₆N₄S₂)₂](C₇H₄NO₄), consists of Ni^II complex cations and 2-nitrobenzoate anions. The Ni^II ion assumes a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by one 2-nitrobenzoate anion and two diaminobithiazole ligands. N-HO hydrogen bonding between cations and anions and between cations helps to stabilize the crystal structure.
