4N:O2:O4,O4']Abstract: In the title compound, [Co(C7H3NO4)(C10H8N2)]n, the CoII atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, being coordinated by three N atoms and three carboxylate O atoms from chelating 2,2'-bipyridine and pyridine-3,4-dicarboxylate ligands. The compound exhibits a two-dimensional layer structure. This supramolecular network is consolidated by
