Abstract: The title compound, [Zn(C₇H₄ClO₂)₂(C₁₀H₁₄N₂O)₂(H₂O)₂], is a monomeric complex, where the Zn^II ion resides on a centre of symmetry in an octahedral coordination environment comprising two pyridyl N, two carboxylate O and two water O atoms. There is an intramolecular hydrogen bond linking each water molecule with one carboxylate group.
