catena-Poly[[(18-crown-6)potassium(I)]--chlorido-silver(I)--chlorido]

Abstract: The title complex, [AgKCl₂(C₁₂H₂₄O₆)]_n, has been synthesized by reaction of 18-crown-6 with KCl and AgNO₃. [K(18-crown-6)]⁺ cations and [AgCl₂]^- anions form one-dimensional chains through KCl interactions of length 3.2568 (14) Å. Both the K⁺ and the Ag^I ions lie on centres of inversion.
