{[N,N'-Bis(4-methoxybenzyl)ethane-1,2-diyldiimino]diacetato}bis(1H-imidazole-N³)cadmium(II) dihydrate

Abstract: In the title complex, [Cd(C₂₂H₂₆N₂O₆)(C₃H₄N₂)₂]·2H₂O, the Cd atom is in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. In the crystal structure, intermolecular hydrogen bonding links molecules into infinite one-dimensional chains. The atoms of one 4-methoxybenzyl group are disordered over two sites in approximately a 0.54:0.46 ratio.
