Abstract: The two fused ring systems in the 1,1'-bi-2-naphthol derivative title compound, C32H28ClO3P, are twisted by 61.1 (1)° about the linking C-C bond, thus conferring chirality on the molecule. In one of the fused ring systems, the four-atom aliphatic chain is disordered over two sites in a 0.5:0.5 ratio.
