(R)-3,3'-Diphenyl-5,6,7,8,5',6',7',8'-octahydro-1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diyl chlorophosphate

Abstract: The two fused ring systems in the 1,1'-bi-2-naphthol derivative title compound, C₃₂H₂₈ClO₃P, are twisted by 61.1 (1)° about the linking C-C bond, thus conferring chirality on the molecule. In one of the fused ring systems, the four-atom aliphatic chain is disordered over two sites in a 0.5:0.5 ratio.
