N1]nickel(II)Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C5H3N6)2(H2O)2], the central Ni atom is located on a centre of inversion and is coordinated by two chelating pyrazinyltetrazolate ligands and two water molecules in a slightly distorted octahedral geometry [Ni-N = 2.082 (2) and 2.125 (2) Å, and Ni-O = 2.068 (2) Å]. These molecules are linked by O-H
N hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
