N1)bis(N,N'-dimethylformamide-
O)(sulfato-
2O,O')copper(II)Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(SO4)(C5H6N2)2(C3H7NO)2], the coordination geometry around the CuII atom is distorted octahedral, involving two O atoms from a bidentate sulfate anion, two N atoms from two 2-aminopyridine ligands and two O atoms from two N,N'-dimethylformamide molecules. The Cu and S atoms are located on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis. A one-dimensional chain structure is built via hydrogen bonds.
