2-trans-di-4-pyridylethylene-
2N:N')(
2-fumarato-
2O:O')zinc(II)]Abstract: In the title compound, [Zn(C4H2O4)(C12H10N2)], the ZnII atom lies on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The ZnII ions are bridged by fumarate and trans-di-4-pyridylethylene to form a porous triply interpenetrated diamond-like metal-organic framework.
