2N,N')(4-nitrobenzoato-
2O,O')copper(II)Abstract: In the title complex, [Cu(C7H4NO4)Cl(C10H9N3)], the Cu atom has a distorted square-pyramidal geometry defined by one bidentate di-2-pyridylamine ligand, one bidentate 4-nitrobenzoate anion, and a Cl atom in the apical position. The Cu atom deviates from the mean plane of the basal atoms towards the Cl atom by 0.3274 (1) Å. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-H
Cl hydrogen bonds and
-
stacking interactions.
