Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C₁₄H₉BrN₄O, is planar, lying on a mirror plane. The molecules are linked by C-HN hydrogen bonds; intramolecular C-HN and C-HO hydrogen bonds are also present. Furthermore, there is a short intermolecular BrO contact [2.869 (5) Å].
