Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(C₇H₃N₂O₆)(C₁₀H₈N₂)(H₂O)]ClO₄, the Ni^II ion adopts a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry, with the coordinated water molecule occupying the apical position. The Ni^II complex cation is linked to the ClO₄^- anion by O-HO hydrogen bonding.
