Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C₆H₁₄N₂)(C₆H₁₆N₂)(H₂O)₂]Cl₂·2H₂O, the cation lies about a twofold rotation axis. The octahedral complex cation is linked to the Cl^- anions by hydrogen bonds to form a layer structure.
