Acta Cryst. (2007). E63, o3703-o3704 [ doi:10.1107/S160053680703749X ]
Abstract: In the title molecule, C21H19ClF3NO2, the 5-chlorophenyl and 4-methoxybenzyl groups are twisted slightly with respect to the amine group [dihedral angles = -8.4 (2) and 13.6 (2)°] and with respect to each other [6.2 (7)°], forming a nearly planar arrangement. The crystal packing is stabilized by intramolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonding between the amine H atom and the hydroxyl O atom. In addition, intermolecular hydrogen bonding between the same amine H atom and an F atom, N-H
F, and between the methoxy O atom and the hydroxyl H atom, O-H
O, adds to this stability.
