Abstract: Redetermination of the structure of the title compound, alternatively called 4-methylbenzenesulfonohydrazide, C7H10N2O2S, at 100 K reveals that both H atoms of the NH2 group form intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds, which together with an N-H
O hydrogen bond from the NH group form a sheet-like structure in the ab plane.
