Poly[bis(₃-benzene-1,3-dicarboxylato)[₂-4,4'-(propane-1,3-diyl)dipyridine]dizinc(II)]

Abstract: The solvothermal reaction of zinc nitrate with 4,4'-(propane-1,3-diyl)dipyridine and benzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid in water and ethanol gave the title complex, [Zn₂(C₈H₄O₄)₂(C₁₃H₁₄N₂)]_n. The structure displays distorted tetrahedral ZnO₃N and square-pyramidal ZnO₄N groups.
