Poly[propane-1,2-diammonium [₂-hydroxido-di-₂-phosphonato-aluminium(III)] monohydrate]

Abstract: The title compound, {(C₃H₁₂N₂)[Al(OH)(HPO₃)₂]·H₂O}_n, has been prepared using a hydrothermal technique and characterized by X-ray diffraction data. The Al atoms are in a distorted octahedral environment. Anions and cations are linked through O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds.
