Abstract: The title compound, C18H16Cl2N2O2, crystallizes with two half-molecules in the asymmetric unit; each molecule lies on an inversion centre. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation and the two chlorobenzene rings in each molecule are parallel to each other due to symmetry. The crystal packing is stabilized by C-H...O and C-H...[pi] interactions.
