1,4-Bis(4-chlorobenzoyl)piperazine

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₁₆Cl₂N₂O₂, crystallizes with two half-molecules in the asymmetric unit; each molecule lies on an inversion centre. The piperazine ring adopts a chair conformation and the two chlorobenzene rings in each molecule are parallel to each other due to symmetry. The crystal packing is stabilized by C-HO and C-H interactions.
