cis-Bis(acetylacetonato)diaquachromium(III) perchlorate monohydrate

Abstract: The Cr³⁺ center of the cation present in the title compound, [Cr(C₅H₇O₂)₂(H₂O)₂]ClO₄·H₂O, assumes a pseudo-octahedral geometry. The uncoordinated water molecule and the perchlorate anion are involved in moderately strong O-HO hydrogen-bonding interactions with the cation, resulting in a three-dimensional network.
