A two-dimensional holmium(III) coordination polymer: poly[aminotris([mu]-4-aminobenzoato)holmium(III)]

Y.-L. Feng, J.-S. Xu, D.-Z. Kuang and Y.-L. Peng

Abstract: In the title compound, [Ho(C7H6NO2)3(H2O)]n, a two-dimensional coordination polymer, the eight-coordinate HoIII ions are bridged by two carboxylate groups from two 4-aminobenzoate ligands, forming a centrosymmetric dinuclear block. These blocks are further connected by 4-aminobenzoate ligands, yielding a two-dimensional network; a three-dimensional supramolecular structure is then formed via hydrogen bonds.
