Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C13H11Br2N2O)Cl], the CuII atom is four-coordinated by an N,N,O-tridentate 2,4-dibromo-6-(2-pyridylmethylaminomethyl)phenolate ligand and a chloride ion in a distorted square-planar arrangement. An N-H
O hydrogen bond helps to stabilize the struture.
