N-(3,4-Dichlorophenyl)-N'-decanoylthiourea

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₂₄Cl₂N₂OS, adopts a trans-cis configuration of the decanoyl and 3,4-dichlorophenyl groups with respect to the thiono S atom across the thiourea C-N bonds. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N-HS and C-HS hydrogen bonds, forming dimers parallel to the b axis.
